Before you pay: how domain verification works

We only run active scans on domains whose owner has proved control. When you continue, your order gets a unique token (it looks like lordevo-verify=…). On the page after payment, click Verify domain (or open /verify with your order reference), then do one of these:

DNS TXT record: add a TXT record named _lordevo-verify.yourdomain.com whose value is your token.
Or a file: publish a plain text file at https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/lordevo-verify.txt containing your token. It must return HTTP 200 (up to 2 redirects are followed).

Then click Check verification now. We check DNS first, then the file. Verification is for the exact host you enter (www.example.com and example.com are different). Security Care: verify once and we keep it on file; until then only the non-intrusive daily Safe Scan runs. The Deep / Active Scan starts automatically once your order is paid and verified.

Deep / Active Scan: US$45 once, by card. Security Care: US$35 a month by card, renews monthly, cancel any time. Charged in US dollars (US$). After payment you must complete domain verification before any active scan runs. Deep / Active Scan: Report in your inbox within about 1 hour after you verify your domain (always within 24 hours).
